History
The church was chartered in 1939 as Bethany English Evangelical Lutheran Church as a member of the United Lutheran Church in America and later merged to be a part of the LCA (Lutheran Church in America). It is now a member of the ELCA.
The congregation spent it's first 10 years moving worship spaces but started by sharing a space with St. Paul's Episcopal church until the building you see today was put up in 1949.
